RIMS organises Swachhta health camp

Imphal, December 29 2024:
Regional Institute of Medical Science's (RIMS), Imphal organised a Swa-chhta Health Camp under the Swachhta Action Plan 2024-25 at Keisham Lairembi community hall, Keishampat Keisham Leikai on Sunday.
According to a press release by RIMS Media Cell, the camp provided vital medical care to approximately 133 patients; facilitated by doctors from various departments including Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics, ENT, Medicine, and Eye Care.
The attendees received free treatment along with essential medicines distributed at the health camp, which was conducted under the supervision of RIMS doctors, staff and medical students, with emphasis on enhancing the health and well-being of underserved populations.
The health camp provided much-needed medical assistance, health screenings, and raised awareness about hygiene and sanitation, elaborated the release, adding that it concluded with positive feedback from participants, and expression of gratitude for the medical support and guidance provided.
RIMS, meanwhile, reaffirmed its dedication to organising similar outreach programmes to improve public health and hygiene Standards across the state.
