Bodies appeal for tracing missing Mukesh

Imphal, March 26 2025:
Keishamthong Yaipha Nupi Lup (KYNL) and Uripok Apunba Lup (UAL) denounced failure by the government in ascertaining the whereabouts of Luwangthem Mukesh, who has been missing since March 16.In separate releases, KYNL and UAL expressed that inability of the government agencies to trace the missing student underscores breakdown of law and order in Manipur.
They also questioned the rationale for heavy deployment of central and state forces across the state and their failure to halt Mukesh from driving towards Jouzangtek in his Alto car.
Further pointing out that it is the bounden duty and responsibility of the state to protect and secure the life and properties of its citizens, they bodies appealed to authorities concerned to find the missing person and hand him over to his parents without delay.
They also assured to support any protest launched by the JAC formed if the government authorities could not locate the missing Mukesh at the earliest.
