Tengnoupal, July 25 2022: As part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, a festival of light was celebrated today under the theme, "Ngallaba India" and "Nganduna leiragadaba punshigi" at Gamnom Veng community hall in Moreh.

It was attended by Deputy Commissioner Tengnoupal, Mannuamching; ASP (LO), Sukumar; ADC Moreh, L Bobby; and Tengnoupal Division MSPDCL, DGM, Solomon Khodang among others.

Speaking on the occasion, Mannuamching stressed on the benefits of installing prepaid meters and urged the public to conserve and use electricity efficiently.

She also informed that the State Government has set the target to install prepaid meters in all the households of Tengnoupal District by the end of 2022.Solomon Khodang appealed to the public to cooperate with the Department concerned in installing prepaid meters and bringing electricity to every household within the district.
