Imphal, June 25 2022: Under the nationwide initiative of the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Im piementation, Regional Office Imphal of Field Operations Division will organise a quiz contest on 'official statistics' for college/university students & alumni on June 27 .

The competition is being organised as part of the ministry's iconic week celebration under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav during June 27 to July 3 .

In a notification, State Capital Regional Office Imphal of Field Operations Division deputy director general MM Singh informed that the event intends to promote awareness about official statistics, Indian Economy, government policies and enlighten the young minds about various facets of Indian official statistical system.

The event for Imphal will be held at Centenary Hall, Manipur University, Canchipur and about 100 students from different institutions are likely to participate.

All participating students will be provided certificate of participation and exciting prizes awarded to the winning teams, informed the deputy director general, and advised interested candidates to contact/call 9435548529 and email at [email protected] for further details.
