Sports kits distributed to displaced students

Imphal, December 23 2024:
Team Ngaihaktang, a group formed by film personalities and those in the sound and music professions, distributed sports kits and other materials to displaced students in a function held at Play Seven turf ground, Kwakeithel Mayaikoibi, Imphal on Monday.
The sports kits were distributed to 72 displaced students from Lamboi Khongnangkhong under the group's 'School Chatsi' campaign supported by Education (S) Department.
During the function, football kits comprising boots, uniform set, socks and bags were distributed to 30 boy students.
Moreover, 42 students were also provided school bags, exercise books, protein supplements, wall alphabet charts, water bottles, geometry sets, and foldable reading tables.
The team would be delivering similar kits to more students from the relief camp, who could not attend the programme.
Among others, L Nandakumar (IAS), N Geoffrey (IAS), Anna Arambam (IAS), Khedabrata (IRS), Michael Achom (IRS), Ksh Shi-vakanta (IPS), Victoria Yengkhom (IPS), H Balaram (IPS), Bunty (MCS), Mayengbam Veto (MCS), T Phulen (MCS), Kh Bisheshwar (MCS), Soraisam David (MCS), Manglem Dangmei (MCS), Renuka (MCS), B Sanatombi (MFS), Bobby M (MFS), and singer-actor Hamom Sadananda, who is also the founder president of Team Ngaihaktang, participated in the function.
