Conrad launches intending candidate's poll campaign

Imphal, November 23 2021:
National People's Party (NPP) national president and Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma on Tuesday kick-started the election campaign of intending NPP candidate of Mayang Imphal AC Urikhinbam Ramesh for the upcoming polls in 2022, in a function organised by NPP Mayang Imphal Block committee at Bengoon Bazar Ground, Bengoon Makha Eroi Salam in Mayang Imphal.
The event was also attended by NPP national general secretary (organisation) Thomas Sangma, Meghalaya William Nagar MLA Marcuise Marak, national vice president and Manipur deputy chief minister Yumnam Joykumar, NNP Manipur State working president L Jayantakumar, NPP Nagaland president Dr Andrew Ahoto and others.
Speaking in this regard, Urikhinbam Ramesh informed that the people of the constituency have been unable to access safe drinking water from the PHED for the last 50 years.
The development in the constituency is also unequal.
For a backward constituency like Mayang Imphal to progress, we need to produce more educated youth, he said and urged the people to extend their support to him so that he could develop Mayang Imphal into a well-known and highly developed constituency.
