Senapati, April 22 2025: Assam Rifles in collaboration with Namai Eco Tourism Society organised World Earth Day celebration at the scenic Namai Zho valley in Senapati district on Tuesday.

The event commenced with a tree plantation drive to support local afforestation efforts and promote ecological sustainability, followed by distribution of cosmos seeds, signifying hope, renewal, and the collective responsibility of preserving nature's beauty.

To engage the creative spirit of the youth and raise awareness through artistic expression, a painting competition was also conducted on the theme Environmental Conservation.

The event saw enthusiastic participation, with young artists showcasing their talent and environmental awareness through vibrant artwork.
