Medical equipment donated to Thoubal DH

Thoubal, February 22 2024:
An ultrasound Unit which was bought with funds pooled in by denizens of Thoubal district and assistance of Thoubal district administration was handed over to District Hospital, Thoubal in an event held at the conference hall of the Thoubal deputy commissioner.
In his address, Thoubal DC Ahanthem Subash expressed hope that the new equipment will help solve issues faced by the ultrasound department of the hospital and provide relief to the people in need of the same.
The equipment costing Rs 2,24,000, was purchased with funds provided by the people as well as contribution of Rs 1,45,000 by the district administration, he mentioned.
Commending the people who donated for the purchase, the DC urged all the denizens to follow in the footsteps of the donors for the collective wellbeing and development of the people of Thoubal.
He also recalled that the Manipur State Co-operative Bank and HDFC Bank had also handed over medical equipment to the district hospital.
The authorities of the District Hospital Thoubal also extended gratitude to the district administration and the people who funded the purchase.
At the event, the Thoubal DC presented Lengyan Phi to the donors and CMO Thoubal Y Nokul, medical superintendent Ruhinikumar and DPM Ch Basanta.
