Imphal, November 20 2021: A 10-day Thang-Ta Workshop organised by Bishnupur District Huyel Langlon Thang-Ta Association, Nambol Kakyai under the sponsorship of Union Ministry of Culture began at the Association's training hall on Friday.

In a release, Association's secretary Elangbam Inaobi Devi said that the opening function of the workshop was attended by UFO secretary general Y Meiraba Angom as chief guest, Chief Minister Indigenous Martial Arts Committee's vice chairman and instructor Laishram Lashamon Singh as president, while Poirei Inat Sindamsang president Shougrakpam Shantababu Meitei, Sana Konung Thang-Ta Loisang assistant secretary Moirangthem Binoy Meitei and Chief Minister Indigenous Martial Arts Committee assistant secretary RK Ibungobi Singh were present as guests of honour.
