Thoubal, November 19 2021: Under the sponsorship of Manipur State AIDS Control Society (MACS) Imphal, District AIDS Prevention and Control Unit (DACPU), Thoubal organised a workshop on Test, Treat and Positive Prevention for Persons with Living with HIV at National Health Mission Thoubal training hall located within the complex of Chief Medical Officer, Thoubal on Thursday.

The workshop was attended by Thoubal District AIDS Control Officer in-charge Dr Y Nokul, who is also CMO Thoubal, as chairman, while DAPCU Thoubal district supervisor Th Openkumar Singh, VIHAN Project health promoter P Shandyarani Devi and ITECH counsellor Minarani spoke on the topics of HIV, Test, Treat and positive prevention for PLHIV as resource persons.

Dr Y Nokul encouraged PLHIVs and lauded them for following the measures to stop the spread of HIV.

He also talked about the preventive measures.

An interaction programme was also conducted as part of the workshop.
