Imphal, January 18 2022: A one-day National Discourse on 'Cultural Identity in State Diaspora Relations' was organised by Manipur University, Department of Dance & Music, UGC Stride Component! under the aegis of UGC Stride Component-1, New Delhi on Tuesday.

The programme was attended by Mizoram University vice chancellor Prof KRS Sambasiva Rao as chief guest, Manipur University vice chancellor Prof N Lokendra Singh as president and MU registrar Prof W Chandbabu Singh as guest of honour.

The technical session was attended by NE Scholar Magazine editor-in-chief Dr Rk Nimai as observer while MU Department of Anthropology Prof W Nabakumar Singh spoke on 'Globalisation, Hybridity & Diaspora' and Mizoram University Department of Biotechnology head Prof Dr Thangjam Robert Singh on 'Science Diasporas: Bridge Between Nations for Development' as resource persons.
