JCILPS stresses on following ILPS rules

Imphal, April 09 2022:
Joint Committee on Inner Line Permit System (JCILPS) NH-37 has urged non-locals entering the state to possess ILP documents by April 20.In a release, JCILPS NH-37 co convener (publicity) K Bhupendra Singh asked people from outside the state, who are coming to Manipur as transporters, employees of companies or agencies to strictly adhere to rules and regulations of ILP system.
Landlords who are leashing out their buildings; owners of lodges, hotels, etc., should also stringently follow rules and regulations of ILP system.
The ILP counter at Jiribam must carry out its duties sincerely, it emphasised.
JCILPS NH-37 also cautioned that if the prescribed guidelines were not followed in letter and spirit, then the body will take appropriate action against the violators.
It further said that creating awareness on the impact of illegal migrants on the state's economy is of utmost necessity.
