AMMYCO hails Imams' decision

Imphal, June 08 2022: While stating that many NGOs, CSOs, clubs, organisations, local bodies, Meira Paibi organisations, students' bodies and the government have been fighting against drug menace in the state over the years; All Manipur Muslim Youth and Cultural Organisation (AMMYCO) has commended the state government for fulfilling the joint resolutions adopted during a seminar held in July, 2019.The body remarked that only when the government stands by its decision to end the drug menace, in addition to fixing the responsibilities on state machineries, the whole initiative will become successful.

Furthermore, the unanimous resolutions adopted by Imams during a meeting organised by Waqf Board, Manipur, to support the 'War on Drugs' campaign is a step in the right direction.

This will be of huge assistance in ending the drug menace in the state, it said, while also appreciating the steps taken up by CM N Biren and Waqf Board, Manipur chairman MLA Md Nasir in this regard.
