Bishnupur, September 07 2021: Oinam AC ex-MLA (L) Dr I Ibohalbi Singh's wife I Nalini alias Memma Devi on Tuesday helped in repairing the 4km stretch of the road from Ngaikhong Khullen and Ngaikhong Shiphai to Bishnupur, also known as Keithel Lambi.

The ex-MLA's wife collaborated with the Village Level Committee of Ngaikhong Khullen and Ngaikhong Shiphai in repairing the road using an excavator and a Tata tipper.

Speaking in this regard, Ngaikhong Shiphai Village Level Committee president L Deven Singh informed that the road was previously blacktopped by the former MLA in 2017.However, the condition of the road deteriorated soon due to negligence by the department and the authority concerned.

Taking into account of the inconveniences faced by the people, Nalini, who will be contesting the upcoming Assembly election, collaborated with the Committee to repair the road while bearing all expenses for the same.

The president then appreciated the intending candidate for the repair work and also for all the activities undertaken by her for the welfare of people.
