Kakching, November 06 2023: National Health Mission (NHM) - AYUSH division in association with All Manipur AYUSH Doctors' Association (AMADA) organised one-day free AYUSH health camp at Kalyan Ashram Kakching relief camp on Monday.

Attending the event, NHM AYUSH state nodal officer Dr Benedict Maring said that the camp was part of the series of programmes being organised for displaced people at different relief camps.

AMADA members are providing free consultation and medicines to the displaced people during these camps.

Ultrasound diagnosis services for piles and fistula were also provided to the inmates, he said while adding that yoga demonstration as a measure of stress management is also part of the camps.

At the same time, District Health Society (DHS) Kakching organised a free anaemia test camp under Anaemia Mukt Bharat Campaign at the relief camp.

District nodal officer of the campaign Dr Kshetrimayum Sumati led the camp, during which blood samples of 12 people were collected for testing.
