Result of patriotic song competition declared

Imphal, October 02 2024: The result of the state level open patriotic song competition organised as a part of Irabot Day observance by Lamyanba Irabot Ningshing Thouram Observation Committee (LINTOC) under Protection and Preservation Committee, Manipur (PPCM) at Jawaharlal Nehru Manipur Dance Academy on September 30 has been declared.

According to a PPCM release, Nomita Yengkhom of Khurai Puthiba Leikai has won the competition while Loukram Malemnganba of Takyel Khongbal and Thokchom Lankhomba of Kongba Laishram Leikai secured second and third position respectively.

The consolation prize winners are Kshetrimayum Rupashya of Kakching Turel Wangma, Hidangmayum Omita of Nachou, Ningthoujam Yaiphabi of Ningthoukhong, Leitanthem Sunanda of Lairenkabi Awang Leikai, Maibam Priti Devi of Kachikhul Mayai Leikai, Armnos Ningthoujam of Kongpal Khaidem Leikai, Leipakleima Watham of Sangaiprou and Koijam Mency of Lairen Sajik.

Cash prize of Rs 20,000 will be awarded to first position, Rs 15,000 to second and Rs 10,000 to third position winners of the competition, while cash prize of Rs 2,000 each will be awarded to fourth position to tenth position as consolation prizes, it added.
