Training for in-service MHWs begins

Imphal, June 30 2022:
State Family Welfare Training Centre has launched a yearlong in-service Multipurpose Health Workers (MHWs) training course 2022-23 at its centre located at RD Wing complex, Lamphelpat here from Thursday.
Speaking as chief guest of the inaugural programme, Family Welfare director in-charge Dr N Dihe Mao called upon the medical professionals to work with sincerity and dedication.
They should remember that they joined the service to serve humanity with compassion, he added.
Stating that the training is important and should not be taken lightly, Dr N Dihe Mao continued that those participating in the training will surely be benefited.
ANMs and MHWs who work with dedication will surely be promoted, he assured, while adding that more such training programmes will be organised if needed.
The function presided over by Family Welfare Training Centre principal Dr O Sanahanbi Devi was also attended by Health Services additional director (public health) Dr Tomcha Khuman and additional director (MD) Dr Kh Shasheekumar Mangang as guests of honour.
