Imphal, May 31 2022: The National Handloom Expo 2022 organised by Manipur Handloom and Handicrafts Development Corporation Limited (MHHDCL) under the sponsorship of Development Commissioner for Handlooms, ministry of textiles has concluded at Delhi Haat, Janakpuri in New Delhi on Tuesday.

Weavers' Service Centre, New Delhi director (north zone) Visesh Nautiyal, MHHDCL general manager (administration) Th Basanta and Panthoibi Manipur Emporium, New Delhi manager Lanchenba Ch attended the closing ceremony as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.

Well-established weavers and artisans of the state participated in the expo, which began from May 18 and they were able to attract large number of visitors.

On the other hand, another handloom expo organised by MHHDCL will begin from Wednesday at Abhoynagar, Agartala, Tripura.
