KCRI ex-chief Namsachung Kabui no more

Former president of Kabui Cultural Research Institute (KCRI) D Namsachung Kabui breathed his last on Sunday due to an illness.
He was 87.In a release, KCRI secretary DL Kabui informed that a condolence meeting attended by treasurer D Joy Kabui was held at Kokadan village on Monday.
D Joy Kabui during the meeting said that Namsachung Kabui was also chief of Kokadan village and founder vice president of KCRI.
He was also a traditional healer and worked tirelessly for preserving and promoting Kabui culture.
The demise of D Namsachung Kabui is a great loss for the state in general and Kabui community in particular, he lamented, while sharing pain and grief of the bereaved family.
A two-minute silence was also observed for the departed soul to rest in peace in its heavenly abode, the release added.
