Joint meeting held, bandh called off

CCpur, December 30 2021: A joint meeting in connection with the' issue of payment of NH102B supplementary compensation was held on Thursday at the conference hall of DC Churachandpur office wherein it was unanimously decided that all necessary documents including strip map shall be completed within January 15, 2022.The joint meet was held in the wake of Chakka bandh called by chiefs' association of the affected villages and consequent to the unanimous decision taken during the joint meet the association has decided to call off the bandh from December 31.The joint meet attended by leaders of the chiefs' association, NHIDCL officials and district administration also agreed to hold a joint reassessment led by the district collector along with the departments concerned, NHIDGL, affected chiefs' association and the Zomi CSOs prior to the necessary documentation.

The joint meet also reached an understanding that there shall be coordination with NHIDCL and the district administration to ensure that all the necessary supporting documents are intimated to the survey team and the composite report reach the NHICDL headquarters in Delhi by January 30 so that payment may be made during March next year.
