Tengnoupal Committee celebrates AMSU foundation day

Moreh, August 28 2022: All Manipur Students' Union (AMSU) Tengnoupal District Committee celebrated the 57th foundation of the students' body at Eastern Shine School hall here on Sunday.

The celebration was attended by AMSU advisor Thokchom Suresh, Meitei Council Moreh president M Thoiba, All Community Development Organisation Moreh president Th Buddha, Tamil Sangam Moreh general secretary KBS Maniam, Manipur Muslim Council Moreh general secretary Md Nasir and AMSU Tengnoupal District Committee president N Tomba as presidium members.

Speaking on the occasion, Suresh pointed out that AMSU is not an organisation for the valley of Manipur alone but for all the indigenous people of the state.

AMSU will stand firm and fight from the front against all forces that are trying to disintegrate Manipur and violate the rights of the indigenes, he affirmed and urged the people to support AMSU when it takes up initiatives for the welfare of the people.

Prizes to winners of Inter School Literary Meet organised by AMSU Committee on August 19 and 20 were also distributed on the occasion.
