MSP celebrates 51st foundation day

Jiribam, February 28 2024: Manipuri Sahitya Parishad (MSP), Jiribam celebrated its 51st foundation day at the conference hall of Jiri Ima Meira Paibi Apunba Lup (JIMPAL), Babupara on Wednesday.

The function was attended by Jiribam Zila Parishad adhyaksha Kh Janaki Devi as chief guest, Manipuri Sahitya Parishad, Jiribam president Tha Panthoi as president and Jiribam social activist N Budhachandra as guest of honour.

During the function, the Moirangthem Churamohon Ningsing Sahitya award was presented to S Khogendra Singh of Babupara, and Okchom Doyanidhi Ningsing Nata Sankirtana award to L Monohar Singh of Dibong Khunou, Jiribam.

The dignitaries also released MSP's journal, 'Jiri Leikol', along with two books, 'Ayingbadasu Asabadasu' and 'Meiridugi Meisalakta', penned by Sarat Thokchom and Moirangthem Seityabati respectively.
