MLA Mirabai opens 70-bedded CHIC for Patsoi AC

Imphal, May 27 2021: In view of the inconveniences faced by Covid positive patients who do not have facilities for home isolation, Patsoi AC MLA AK Mirabai has opened a 70-bedded Community Home Isolation Centre (CHIC) for the constituency at State Academy of Training, Takyel on Thursday.

Speaking on the occasion, AK Mirabai informed that four nurses, one ambulance with two drivers, and two multi tasking staffers from the constituency would be utilised for manning the centre and they would be given remunerations.

Volunteers of the centre are also ready to fight the Covid-19 second wave selflessly, she continued, while urging the people to extend all possible help to them.

With the opening of Patsoi Kendra Covid-19 Relief Fund, Manipuri Mm actress Artina has donated Rs 20,000, Lamjaotongba GP pradhan E Sushila, Thounaojam GP pradhan N Ratan and Patsoi ZP member L Langlen Leima donated Rs 30,000 each, Langjing GP pradhan M Romen and a team of upa-pradhan S Vangai donated Rs 10,000 and Sada fruits proprietor extended edible items.

The MLA lauded the donors for extending aid during these troubled times.

The inauguration of the CHIC was attended by Takyel ZP member Ng Bimola Devi, Langjing GP pradhan M Romen, Patsoi ZP member Langlen Leima, Changangei ZP member S Mariit, Lamjaotongba GP pradhan E Sushila, Sapam Leikai GP pradhan A Bishwajit, Changangei GP pradhan L Roma Leima, Thounaojam Leikai GP pradhan Ratan Meitei, Langjing GO upa-pradhan S Vangou and SDC Patsoi among others.
