Assam Rifles conducts lecture, interaction programme

Bpr/Non, July 25 2022: Loktak Battalion under the aegis of IGAR(S) organised an interaction programme with meira paibis of Moirang, Thanga and Karang villages of Bishnupur district on July 25.The interaction programme was conducted to develop a sense of security towards the area of responsibility for the upcoming Independence Day celebration, said a statement of IGAR(S).

Loktak Battalion also organised a Security and Coordination Meet at Ningthiching TOB in Bishnupur district on July 25.The meet provided the platform to discuss the current political climate and the need to uphold security within the region.

Career opportunities for students in Defence Forces and Sports were also discussed.

Similarly, Khoupum Battalion also conducted an awareness lecture on the importance of rain water harvesting at Pinjang and L Khunou of Noney district, Manipur and Radhanagar of Unakoti district, Tripura yesterday.
