Solo patriotic song competition held

Imphal, November 24 2021: Manipur University Students' Union (MUSU) organised a state level open solo Manipuri patriotic song competition on the theme 'Sacrifice and Survive together' at MU centenary hall on Wednesday.

The inaugural function of the competition was attended by Manipur University Teachers' Association president professor Debananda Singh Ningthoujam as chief guest and MUSU president Maibam Meikel Singh as president while Dean of Students' Welfare Dr L Bishwanath Sharma and MU cultural coordinator Dr Rajkumar Suresh Singh were guests of honour.

In all, 29 participants competed with Sinam Babita Chanu, Abo Ningombam and Amrika Sorokhaibam declared winners of first, second and third prize respectively.
