Imphal, June 24 2021: The Good Karma Foundation, Thanga celebrated its 4th anniversary at its temporary office in Thanga Chingkha Leihaothabam on Thursday.

According to a statement released by the Foundation, the celebration commenced with lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Women Empowerment secretary Khwairakpam Premita.

During the celebration, gifts were presented to meritorious students of Class X, XII, sportspersons and other exemplary personalities.

Members of the Foundation who were stuck inside containment zones attended the celebration via Zoom.

Later, edibles were distributed to people of Thanga Chingkha Ward No 5 and 6.The statement also extended its condolence on the demise of one Haobijam Prasanta (44) s/o Yaima of Thanga Chingkha Houreng due to Covid-19 and appealed to the authorities concerned to conduct a mass testing in Thanga to allay the fear of the public.
