Many join INC in Mayang Imphal AC

Imphal, November 22 2021: Several BJP members in Mayang Imphal assembly constituency of Imphal West district have left the party and joined Indian National Congress (INC) while ex-minister and former MPCC vice president Dr Kh Ratankumar welcomed the new entrants.

Among those who joined INC from BJP include Bahaudin Phundrei, Wahazuddin Phundrei, Tajuddin, Aslam Khan, Abdul Hasan, Azim Phundrei, Md Jama Khan, Md Rafiq, Sadam alias Aslam Phundrei, Md Zakaria Phundrei, Md Zakir Phundrei and Basir Ahmed Phundrei.

Reception function for the newly joined INC members was held on Monday at Phou-bakchao wherein Dr Kh Ratankumar said that more people are joining the INC as they are fed up with BJP government's acts of fooling the people and they have no faith in BJP now.

INC and its like-minded parties will emerge victorious in the 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly election and form the next government, Dr Ratankumar claimed and appealed to people to teach lesson to the BJP government.
