Lotus campaign intensifies in Wabagai AC

Kakching, November 19 2021: Lotus campaign locally known as Thambal campaign of BJP intensified in Wabagai assembly constituency of Kakching district with party's intending candidate and ex-MLA Dr Usham Deben leading the programme.

As part of the campaign, BJP flags were erected at several houses in Polling Station No.36/7 Maibam Konjil on Friday under the initiative of Dr Usham Deben, who is also BJP Manipur Pradesh vice president.

Regarding the campaign, Dr Deben said that Wabagai AC is one of the least devel oped constituencies of the state as no significant development have brought since the past 10 years.

However, people have now faith in BJP and accordingly around 150 out of 200 families in Polling Station No.36/7 Maibam Konjii having more than 600 voters have put up BJP flag as part of Thaipb'al Campaign.

According to Dr Deben, many people of Wabagai AC have reposed faith in BJP after the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led central government and CM N Biren in the state launched several welfare schemes for the people.

He also said that BJP would secure more than 40 seats in the 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly election to be held in early part of 2022 and form the next government all by itself.
