PSO clarifies on ration card, rice

Imphal, January 18 2022: Explaining that there is no surety of availing PDS food grains when admitted to PDS portal list, Langthabal Ken-dra Fair Price Shop Owners Association (LKFPSOA) refuted the allegation of one association of Langthabal over non-distribution of ration card and allocation of food grains.

Speaking to media persons at Chajing Mairenkhong community hall on Tuesday, LKFPSOA member S Rishikanta explained that food grains cannot be availed when new beneficiaries are admitted to PDS list.

A further process of ministry is required and food grains could be availed only when beneficiaries are included in allocation list.

While expressing that the allegations is made to take political advantage, he said that beneficiaries of Langthabal still get their deserving foodgrains properly.

He urged to contact the office of district supply officer for further details.
