75th Naga Independence Day celebrated

Noney, August 14 2021:
The 75th Naga Independence Day was celebrated on Saturday at Khumji-2-village, Noney district.
The event was jointly organised by Rongmei Naga Council Manipur (RNCM) Longmai Luangrian and Villages Council Longmai Area (VCLA).
As the functional president RNCM former president Th Pamei hoisted the Naga national flag.
During his speech, Pamei dwelt on the long-standing Naga issue since the British rule.
Kenan Kamei, former president RNCM; Adai Dangmei, chairman VCLA, Chamdanliu Kamei, president Rongmei Luh- Phuam and other CSO leaders also spoke on topics related to Naga issue.
Angan Pamei, chairman Longmai Area Churches Fel lowship and Pastor Makhuam-III B/Ch, also shared the Gospel message quoting Bible verses.
The gathering also offered a silent prayer for all the Naga National workers and leaders who sacrificed their precious lives for the cause of Naga movement, and special prayer points for early solution to the long-drawn Naga issue, for the unity of Naga brothers and for the good health of all the Naga leaders working in different groups.
