Monsang bodies condole demise of Sanjoy Wanglar

Kakching, October 13 2024: Sirti Upa Ruh/Monsang Tribe Union (SUR), Sirti Sanuw Ruh/Monsang Women Union (SSR) and Sirti Thiimjiitam Sourkhe/Monsang Naga Students' Union (STS) have condoled the untimely demise of 17th Bn CRPF deputy commandant Sanjoy Monsang Wanglar, who breathed his last at Max Super Speciality Hospital, New Delhi on October 11.As per a release, the funeral service was held at his Liwa Sarei Monsang village house in Chandel district on Sunday.

Sanjoy Monsang Wanglar joined CRPF as an assistant commandant in 2009 and promoted to deputy commandant in 2016.He was the first to hold the position of CRPF deputy commandant among the Monsang community.

Stating that Sanjoy's sudden and untimely demise is a great loss for the Monsang tribe in general, and Liwa Sarei village in particular, the Monsang organisations expressed and shared deep condolences to the bereaved family and relatives.
