Imphal, March 13 2025: Assam Rifles dedicated a newly constructed toilet block at Chinglangmei, a remote village in Churachandpur district on Wednesday.

In a release, PRO IGAR (S) informed that the project constructed under Operation Sadbhavana will improve sanitation and hygiene facilities for the villagers, contributing to the central government's 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan' objective.

The toilet block will provide much needed access to clean and hygienic sanitation, benefiting the local population, especially women and children.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by officials from AR, village authorities, and community members.

Speaking at the event, AR officials emphasised the importance of sanitation in ensuring public health and pledged continued support for similar community development initiatives, it added.
