Imphal, October 12 2024: Constituent members from different political parties of Manipur Democratic Alliances (MDA), on Saturday, called on Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya at Raj Bha-van, Imphal and discussed on various issues related to development and prosperity of the state, a release by PRO Raj Bhavan informed.

The release informed that differently-abled and state awardee Soibam Birla Devi of Laipham Khunnou Mamang Leikai also called on the Governor on Saturday.

He encouraged her work and congratulated for her achievement, it added.

All Manipur Elected PRIs of 2017 also met the Governor on Saturday evening at Raj Bhavan.

The representatives, while submitting a memorandum to the Governor, apprised about the prevailing status of PRIs in the state.

Former MP Dr Thokchom Meinya also called on the Governor at Raj Bhavan in Imphal on Saturday, it added.
