Tribal Youth Council elects new leadership

Imphal, October 11 2024: The Tribal Youth Council, Manipur (TYCM), established in 2007 to advocate rights and welfare of tribal communities, has elected a new leadership team for the tenure 2024-2027 in a meeting held on October 6, chaired by outgoing president Tolkham Mating.

According to a press communique, the newly elected office bearers are Momo Tantanga as president, Robert Rongmei as general secretary, and Titus Golmei as executive member.

The remaining vacant positions will be filled in the next scheduled meeting.

In a formal handover, Tolkham Maring expressed confidence in the newly elected team's leadership and vision for the organisation as the new members thanked the former leaders for their dedication and tireless contributions to advancing the welfare of tribal communities in Manipur, and pledged to continue the council's mission.
