Imphal, August 11 2022: Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP) Manipur Prant in association with 25th Battalion BRTF, Lamphel celebrated 'Raksha Bandhan' dedicated to 'Veer Jawans' on Thursday at the BRTF's Lamphel camp.

In a release, BVP Manipur Prant informed that gifts and sweets were distributed to BRTF personnel and officers to celebrate Raksha Bandhan in the presence of parishad president Dr H Priyoshakhi Devi, secretary B Krishna Kumar Sharma and 25th Battalion, BRTF AO Roshan Lal as the presidium members.

Talks on the importance of Raksha Bandhan and role of BVP in uplifting of the society to were delivered by the presidium members.

The Indian national flags were also distributed to the jawans of BRTF and members of BVP as a part of 'Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign' to celebrate the 75th year of Independence of the nation, added the release.
