Joykisan inaugurates multipurpose hall

Imphal, December 10 2021: Thangmeiband MLA Khumukcham Joykisan has inaugurated a multipurpose community hall at Nagamapal Kangjabi Leirak on Friday.

At the event, Joykisan observed that the multipurpose hall will be great help to people of the area, especially for solemnising marriage or organising social gatherings.

The nearby Lalambung community hall will also be inaugurated on December 15 and construction works on Khoyathong community hall, NLC Club Thangmeiband Sinam Leikai, and Model Club are in progress, he informed, adding that around five Meira sheds have also been inaugurated recently.

Regarding the bad road condition in the constituency, the Congress MLA said that the pilot project of Imphal sewerage project was taken up in Thangmeiband and it prevented from taking up work for improving the road condition.

Thangmeiband AC became an experiment site for the project, which is in a sorry state, he added.
