Thoubal, January 07 2022: Refuting claim made by one Ningthoujam Bimol that construction of Kakmayai bridge over Tabungbi river at Kakmayai Mamang Leikai under Heirok assembly constitution has not been undertaken, one Sorokhaibam Sanaton of the village has said that the construction of the said bridge whose foundation stone was laid by Heirok MLA Dr Th Radhesyam in October last year has been completed.

Addressing a press meet on Friday, Sanaton stated that construction of the bridge has been completed and public can start using the bridge by this week.

As such, claims of its non-completion is malicious.

N Bimol must stop spreading such false allegation and apologise to the people of Kakmayai at the earliest.

If he does not do so then the Kakmayai villagers will ban entry of Congress workers including Bimol into the village, he asserted.
