Teachers' training held at Teinem village

Ukhrul, July 03 2022:
A two-day intensive training for teachers was organised by Education Committee, Yireitang (ECY) at Teinem village in Ukhrul district from July 1 .
University of Delhi, Bharti College assistant professor Chansa Makan was the resource person of the training programme.
On day one of the training, he presented a lecture on topics covering 'Professional Development of Teachers', 'Understanding Students' and 'Learner Centre Classroom' .
On day two, he covered topics including 'Activity-based Learning' and 'Classroom Management' .
The training programme concluded with a practical session and group discussion.
Dozens of teachers from the village participated in the training.
ECY official Mayaso Shongzan expressed gratitude to Chansa Makan for being a voluntary resource person of the training.
"We thank him immensely for his concern and services.
He voluntarily imparted his invaluable professional knowledge to the young people in the teaching profession", he said.
Shongzan further said that Chansa Makan is rendering a commendable voluntary service to the community.
"Chansa is currently volunteering to do training for teachers in different parts of the district, leaving behind his own job", he added.
