SOREPA rounds up 40 drug users

As part of its campaign against drug abuse and trafficking, the Anti-Drug Task Force of the armed SOREPA rounded up 40 persons involved in drug use and facilitated their proper counselling.
Addressing the media in an area in Thoubal district, a SOREPA spokesperson cautioned that continuation of the colonial rulers' policy to entrap youth with drugs and turn Manipur to a hub of drug users is destroying the society.
As such, the Anti-Drug Task Force of SOREPA is taking up the cudgel to protect the youth from the scourge of drugs, he affirmed, while urging all concerned to support SOREPA's efforts in rescuing the youths of Manipur from drugs and turning them into invaluable asset of the society.
