Imphal, December 29 2024: The Chhabi Sahayog Foundation, Manipur Prant in association with Dev Desh Pratisthan, Mumbai and Saidham Cancer Hospital, Shirdi organised a society-based cancer awareness workshop at Star Kids' Centre, Top Siphai on Sunday.

The workshop was led by cancer warrior and Chhabi Sahayog Foundation, Manipur Women's Wing head Dr Th Kamala Devi, while Dr N Premi Devi and Longjam Rebita delivered lectures related to cancer prevention, early detection and treatment.

The workshop was attended by Centre's founder Yumnam, Shyamkanta as chief guest and Top Siphai Club secretary Tek-cham Tekchamba as president while Top Siphai Meira Paibi member Sapam Radhe and CSF Manipur Prant member W Sanjoy were the guests of honour.

Over 50 people who attended the workshop were highlighted on the importance of early diagnosis for effective treatment.
