Medical kits, food items distributed

Kak/Tbl, May 24 2021: In continuation of the assistance provided to the people, BJP Hiyanglam Mandal distributed sanitizer, oximeter and other medical kits to Community Home Isolation Centre and the households in Home Isolation of Hiyanglam Assembly Constituency today.

The items were distributed as a part of the Seva Hi Sangathan Phase 2 programme held at Langmeidong.

Speaking on the occasion, Rajya Sabha MP, Rk Ranjan stated.that the workers of BJP have been providing assistance to the people affected by COVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic and would continue to do so in the future.

He highlighted the objective of the Government to vaccinate all the people by December 2021 and added that various processes have also been initiated to acquire the COVID-19 vaccine.

The programme was attended by BJP Manipur Pradesh, general secretary organisation, Abhay Kumar; Hiyanglam AC MLA, Dr Radheshyam Yumnam and members of BJP Hiyanglam Mandal.

Meanwhile, Kangabam Jadumani also distributed essential food items to the households in the containment zones of Waithou and Charangpat under Wangkhem Assembly Constituency today.

Speaking on the occasion, Kangabam Jadumani stressed on the importance of strictly following the SOPs mandated by the Government in combating the COVID-19 pandemic and urged the public to get vaccinated and stay indoors except for emergency cases.

He mentioned that the food,items were distributed to support the families suffering in the containment zones due to the COVID-19 pandemic and assured to provide similar assistance in the future.
