Army organises Christmas fair in CCpur

Imphal, December 22 2024: In its efforts to support and provide relief to the locals, the Indian Army organised a festive Christmas fair at the relief camp for internally displaced people (IDP) at Sangai University in Zipki Tampak village of Churachandpur district.

The event brought joy, hope and a sense of togetherness to over 570 people affected by the ongoing strife in the state, a release by PRO Defence said.

The release also informed that the collaborative effort featured a variety of games, entertainment and cultural performances, which witnessed enthusiastic participation from the attendees.

The fair created a vibrant atmosphere of celebration, bringing people together to enjoy the festivities.

Essential relief items were also distributed to displaced families, providing much-needed support and spreading Christmas cheer.
