Khundrakpam AC Welfare Committee formed

Imphal, August 20 2021: With the main objective to develop Khundrakpam assembly constituency at par with other constituencies, a committee christened 'Khundrakpam AC Welfare Committee' has been formed Friday under the initiative of Elangbam Sovid who is preparing to contest 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly election from the constituency.

The committee was formed during a public meeting held at Thaba Tutorial Centre, Khundrakpam Awang Leikai.

Khundrakpam is the least developed among 60 assembly segments of the state but I want to develop the constituency at par with other constituencies of the state, Sovid said while addressing gathering at the meeting and disclosed that he decided to join electoral politics to bring development in Khundrakpam.

He also said that there are many things he wants to do as servant of the people and bring a change in Khundrakpam AC.

The meeting presided by former candidate of the constituency Namoijam Singhajit Singh was also attended by former deputy speaker S Lala as chief guest.
