Ukhrul, July 18 2022: Deputy Commissioner Ukhrul, Krishna Kumar on Monday launched "Meeyamgi Numit" at DRDA Conference Hall, Mini Secretariat Office Complex Hamleikhong, Ukhrul.

It was attended by Ukhrul SP.

Saujanya Singh; ADC, Chunglenmang Kipgen; SDOs, Kachamthai & Suranjoy; District Level Of- ficers (DLOs) and local leaders.

Speaking on the occasion, Krishna Kumar stated that the event was organised to address the grievances of the public and sort out their difficulties.

"All the concerned department heads must attend the programme and their attendance will be strictly monitored", he added.

Informing that Meeyamgi Numit will be held on the 3rd Friday of every month, Krishna Kumar also appealed to the public to take this opportunity to highlight their concerns and avail the benefits of Government Schemes.

Around 36 written applications were received today with grievances related to health cards and Old Age Pension among others.

"Meeyamgi Numit" was organised by District Administration Ukhrul.
