SAI/STC conducts 'Fit India Cycling' campaign

Joining the nationwide Fit India initiative, the Sports Authority of India (SAI) STC, Imphal organised the 'Fit India Cycling' campaign under the theme 'Pollution Ka Solution, Pedal2Fitness' on Tuesday in Imphal.
The cycle rally participated by SAI/STC coaches, staff, and players was flagged off by social activist and cyclist Rohan Philem.
Addressing the gathering, SAI STC in-charge Maibam Ramani emphasised the dual goals of the campaign: promoting the use of bicycles to reduce pollution and encouraging a healthier lifestyle through regular exercise.
She highlighted the importance of cycling as a sustainable mode of transportation that not only benefits the environment but also contributes to personal well-being.
Ramani also encouraged the public To make exercise a part of their daily routine, suggesting at least 30 minutes of physical exercise every day.
She urged citizens to actively participate in the Fit India Cycling campaign and register through the Fit India app to monitor their fitness journey.
