CRPF, AR units distribute solar lamps

Imphal, January 15 2022:
69 Bn CRPF Mantri-pukhri distributed solar lamps to 100 villagers under its Civic Action Programme (CAP) for the year 2021-22 under the aegis of IGP M&N Sector at New Kaithelmanbi, Kangpokpi district on Saturday.
According to a release by 69 Bn CRPF, the programme was presided over by commandant Bajrang Lai in the presence of distinguished guests, officers, SOs, personnel of 69 Bn CRPF and the villagers of New Kaithelmanbi, Lungchin, S Laijang, Thanglongmol Bung, Namthanjang Rongmei, Senam Khaithong and Pholjang.
Speaking during the function, commandant Bajrang Lai conveyed that CRPF is a true friend and the peace keeper of the nation and will always be at service whenever required.
He also stated that CRPF would continue to serve the people of Manipur for their growth, development and prosperity and also assured that gathering that more such CAP will be organised in near future.
On the other-hand, troops of Shangshak Battalion of IGAR (S) distributed solar lamps to Namlee, Wanglee and K Ashang Khullen villages of Kamjong district on Saturday as part of Assam Rifles' CAP.
In a release, PRO IGAR (S) stated that 128 solar lamps were distributed to the three villages and the initiative taken by Assam Rifles has solved the long pending need of provision of solar lamp facility to these villages.
