Imphal, July 13 2022: Health minister Dr S Ranjan Singh on Wednesday visited Integrated AYUSH Hospital, Keirao in Imphal East district.

The minister was accompanied by Keirao MLA L Rameshwor Singh, AYUSH director Dr A Guneshwor Sharma, AYUSH officials, engineers of MANIDCO and others.

During the visit, the ministerial team inspected progress of the construction of the State Homeopathy Medical College and State Homeopathy Manufacturing Unit along with Drug Testing Laboratory which is under construction.

A meeting was also held with the officials concerned of AYUSH Department which was also attended by staffers of the engineering department after the infrastructure of the present Integrated AYUSH Hospital, Keirao was reviewed.

Minister Dr S Ranjan urged the officials concerned and contractors for early completion of the structures in public interest.

He said that the department will approach the authority concerned for the required fund for the completion of the structures.

He also stated that such visits will be carried out in other districts and subdivisions where there are health facilities.
