One dies in road accident

Imphal, October 12 2024: In a road mishap involving a truck and a motorcycle at Tera Khuraijam Leirak under Lamphel police station in Imphal West district, rider of the motorcycle, Royal Enfield 350, died.

The deceased person has been identified as Laishram Alendro Singh (28) son of Okendro of Naoremthong Khumanthem Leikai.

Police report said that accident occurred at about7pm Saturday when the truck bearing registration No NL07A-9013 and the motorcycle (MN01V-1345) collided with Alendro killed at the spot.

Lamphel police has registered a case and apprehended the truck driver as well as the helper while the body of Alendro has been deposited at RIMS morgue for post mortem.
