Thoubal, February 12 2022:
Lilong Block Congress Committee organised a programme to discuss and understand the after effects of BJP government at Lilong Sambrukhong on Saturday.
The programme held mainly for Lilong AC Congress women workers was attended by Bihar Pradesh Congress Minority Committee chairman Fauzia Rana, Lilong A/C INC candidate Syed Anwar Hussain and Lilong Block Congress Committee president Md Imamuddin as presidium members.
Speaking at the event, Fauzia Rana contended that BJP has created several issues causing havoc in the country since it came to power, thereby making the people to suffer.
With reference to the BJP government in Karnataka restricting wearing of Hijab by Muslim students in educational institutions, she posed whether the matter is related with Hijab or Muslim being a minority.
Fauzia Rana urged the people to introspect issues created by BJP as well as those confronting the minority Muslim owing to undermining secular principle of the Indian constitution by the establishment.
Congress is a secular party which does not discriminate anyone, she added.
