Awareness on CWSN identification held

Bishnupur, November 07 2024: An awareness programme, aimed at identifying children with special needs (CWSN), providing them essential supports and addressing challenges in their education, was held at Oinam High School on Thursday.

Held under the theme "Raising Awareness and Promoting the Identification of Hearing and Speech Problems," the programme was jointly organised by Juvenile Justice Board, Imphal, CRC SRE, ZEO Bishnupur, and DDRC Bishnupur, under the aegis of Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Mjnistry of Social Justice & Empowerment.

The event was attended by Bishnupur ZEO N Chingkhei, CRC SRE, Takyelpat assistant professor Kh Rameshwori, IED, Imphal West coordinator O Aruna, DSWO special teacher Th Sunolaya and DDRC physiotherapist Akoijam Dicky.
